本文旨在探討台灣跆拳道歷屆奧運週期國際比賽成績分析與亞洲區及世界區台灣的主要競爭對手。本研究對象為1997至2012年世界錦標賽、亞運會、亞洲錦標賽與雪梨、雅典、北京及倫敦等4屆奧運會之跆拳道比賽。採文獻記錄分析法，將上述國際週期賽會比賽成績，利用 WTF 奧運積分，以描述性統計量化分析及次數分配百分比，進行綜合描述與圖示比較，其研究結果為：一、台灣於亞洲區與世界區各奧運週期比賽總體戰力分析，其成績表現高低依序為雪梨、雅典、北京、倫敦，有依遠至近之奧運週期下降，以倫敦奧運比賽積分最低更為明顯。二、根據歷屆奧運週期積分排名，於台灣之前國家為主要對手，於台灣之後為具威脅性競爭國家計有（一）亞洲地區依序為韓國、中國、伊朗，具威脅性之可能對手為泰國。（二）世界地區依序為韓國、中國、西班牙、土耳其、法國、泰國、英國、伊朗、俄羅斯、美國、義大利、克羅埃西亞及墨西哥，具威脅性之可能對手為塞爾維亞。本研究成果可供跆拳道國際競技政策制定及參加國際重大比賽培訓的參考。

This article aims to explore the Taiwanese Taekwondo team in previous Olympic Games and international competitions results analysis, as well as identify Taiwan’s main competitors. both within Asia and the world. The study’s data is from 1997 to 2012 World Championships, Asian Games, Asian Championships and four rounds of Olympic Games including Sydney, Athens, Beijing and London taekwondo competitions. This thesis deals mainly with documentary analysis, analysing the above-mentioned tournament’s and international matches results, Using WTF Olympic points, Quantitative and descriptive statistical techniques and frequency distribution percentages, then expressed and compared with comprehensive descriptions and diagrams, Its findings were as follows:1. According to Taiwan’s Asian region and world region Olympic cycle overall combat power analysis, the results show that in the order of, Sydney, Athens, Beijing, and London games, there is a gradual downward trend throughout the Olympic period, and London Olympics lowest points most apparent.2. Taiwan’s main rival and threatening competitors are namely, Asia Area South Korea, China, and Iran,witf the possible threat from Thailand.（2） World Area: South Korea, China, Spain, Turkey, France, Thailand, United Kingdom, Iran, Russia, the United States and Italy, with a possible threat from Serbia. The results of this study can provide reference for the International Taekwondo. Athletics policy and team training for participating in major international competitions.
