Objective: Use problem-solving quality control circle of quality improvement techniques to decrease the ratio of non-retired ward injection drugs,build computer control measures, reduce waste and save on medicine injection medical costs. Methods: During the study period from January 2014 to September 2014, aretrospective study of QC pharmacists was carried out to ascertain injections at nursing stations which did not return the inpatient pharmacy prescription chart events. Results: Following intervention in April 2014, the should be hospitalized by drug withdrawal date report returned pharmacy drugs without injection amount refunded ratio decreased from 7.5% in 2014Q1 to 2014Q3 1.2%, an improvement of up to 84.0%. In addition, the implementation of problem-solving techniques to improve the quality of familiarity around the mean score improved by 3.0 points to 8.7 points. Conclusions: Use of problem-solving techniques for quality improvement effectively reduced the amount of non-retired ward injection drugs rate,reducing the waste of injection drugs and lowering health care costs. |
