Sexual Health Care in Disease Progression

性健康護理是一個複雜的護理處置過程，護理人員運用性健康照護模式，可協助其將病人性生活相關之訊息涵蓋於護理評估，於護理過程中循序了解病人性健康問題，以達到全人照護的目標。臨床上常應用PLISSIT模式與BETTER模式，以了解引起個案性生活型態失常的原因，提供相關的資訊或建議，或協助轉介個案以獲得更進一步的專業治療。期待藉由性健康照護，達到落實全人照護的目標。

Sexual health care is a complicated nursing intervention. With the application of sexual health care model, the nurses could apply patients’ sexual health related information to nursing assessments, as well as to nursing process to further understand patients’ sexual health problems. As a result, the goal of the holistic care may be achieved. Application of PLISSIT and BETTER model should be encouraged in the clinical settings to examine factors influencing sexual dysfunction among patients, to offer relevant information or suggestions, or to assist transferring patients to realize further professional treatments. We hope that the goal of holistic care could be accomplished through the applying of sexual health care.
