「茱萸盜者」――牧歌作品――要旨

Abstract of Reading “The Cornel Stealer”-Pastoral Works-

關於川端康成「茱萸盜者」作品，一般的評論家大都以文中的＜朝鮮糖果＞著手，論述集中在川端對人與人之間差別問題的看法；本論文略去＜朝鮮糖果＞的說法，試以別的觀點談論這篇作品。
「茱萸盜者」由兩篇小節文章所構成。前小節主要是小料理店的女人與郵差之間的會話，後小節則是燒木炭的女孩手持茱萸往村莊的醫師家致謝時，途中所發生的事情。小料理店的女人與燒木炭女孩因茱萸的緣故而結識，兩小節的字數幾乎一樣，為何川端康成以「茱萸盜者」題名？
本稿以下列三點論述此作品：1.金錢與茱萸　2.小料理店的女人與燒木炭的女孩　3.「茱萸盜者」的題名。透過這三點論述，藉此來說明作者寫這篇小說的心境。

Regarding to Kawabata Yasunari’s prose, The Cornel Stealer, many commentators focus, in the context, on “Korean candy”, in which the author’s view about the diversity of characters and cultures of people have been windly discussed. In this paper , however, we omit such a perspective and intend to explore other point of view.
“The Cornel Stealer” is composed of two sections. The first section is mainly about the conversations between the woman who run an eatery and the postman.The second section is about what happened on the way when the girl who burned charcoal, the way to produce wood coal, sent the cornel and wood coal to thank to the doctor in the village. While the value and the number of word in the two respective sections are about on a par,why did the author choose to give “The Cornel Stealer” as the title of this prose ?
