2015年10月至12月統計護理單位平均器械包盤重新滅菌率高達43.35%,主要原因為棉質布打包效期僅7天、病房區包盤備量庫存過多、特殊包盤使用率低、包盤相似未做整合及對包盤內容物不了解。由於重新滅菌的包盤,需進行拆包、清點、清洗、烘乾、保養、配對組盤、打包,造成醫衛材及人力成本浪費。本專案以降低器械包盤重新滅菌為目的,擬定解決方法,包裝方式改變、整合相似包盤、以管袋單包方式、特殊包盤改由供應室備庫及調整各單位庫存量,經專案改善後統計2016年1月至3月器械包盤重新滅菌率降至3.73%,平均每月重新滅菌費用由15820元降為2044元,平均每月處理到期包盤時間由47.1小時降為2.1小時。本專案有效解決器械包盤重新滅菌情形,達到節省成本效益。 |

The average re-sterilization rate of instrument packages was 43.35% across nursing units between October and December in 2015. The main reasons related to this problem were the short 7-day sterilizing period of cotton cloth packaging, overstocking of instrument packages, low utili-zation of special instrument packages, lack of integration of similar instrument packages, and a lack of understanding of the contents of instrument packages. Re-sterilization of instrument packages requires unpacking, cleaning,drying, instrument maintenance, package pairing, and packing. It increases the costs of medical supplies and manpower. In order to reduce the re-sterilization rate of instrument packages, this project indicated methods for problem solving,changed packaging methods, integrated similar packages, applied a tube sack packaging mode, stored special packages in a sterile processing department, and adjusted the inventory of instrument packages in nursing units. After completion of this project, the re-sterilization rate of instrument packages was reduced to 3.73% between January and March in 2016. The average monthly cost of re-sterilization was reduced from NT$15,820 to NT$2,044. The average re-sterilization time was reduced form 47.1 hours to 2.1 hours per month. This project effectively reduced the rate and cost of instrument re-sterilization. |
