The aims of this paper focuses on a ruminated thinking and newly acquired directions for lifelong learning. The study includes four parts. First of all , it describes three forces to facilitate the development of lifelong learning movement: globalization, knowledge society and postmodern. Secondly, it analyzes the new concept of lifelong learning, concentrating on "learning how to learn." Thirdly, the paper introduces some methods for creative learning; and finally, an updated thinking and innovative direction are proposed for the practice of lifelong learning. |
