This article discusses the current situation, difficulties and challenges of the innovative management in primary and secondary schools. Some cases of innovative management are presented and analyzed as references for school principals, administrators and teachers. In addition, the paper analyzes the reasons why innovative school management did not work well during the past years. It is claimed that not merely school principals and administrators have the responsibility to promote school innovation, but also school teachers, students and parents should actively contribute to the school innovation as well. Effective strategies and actions are then proposed in this article for the romotion of innovative school management. It is imperative that the principal set an example by personally taking part in the suggested innovative programs, by enhancing the concept and providing actual supports for school teachers and students. Furthermore, the principal should also adopt innovative management in school supervision and evaluation systems. School administrators should apply innovative ideas and actions for their work to solve problems and to pursue excellence. As for teachers, innovation should be reflected on classroom management, teaching methods and students'performance. |
