代謝症候群個案管理成效：有對照組的前後測介入研究

The Effectiveness of Case Management for Metabolic Syndrome: Pre- and post-test intervention trial with a control group

採有對照組的前後測介入研究評估代謝症候群個案管理在肥胖、高血壓、血糖耐受不良、高三酸甘油酯血症的改善成效。個案管理組為桃園復興鄉代謝症候群個案，接受半年個案管理（含團體衛教、鼓勵參加健康促進活動、電訪或家訪等）。對照組為桃園整合性篩檢符合代謝症候群，且半年至一年內重複受檢個案。個案管理組52位(86.7%)，對照組76位。個案管理組的體重、身體質量指數（BMI）、血壓、空腹血糖的改善均優於對照組，且達統計意義。代謝症候群個案經過半年個案管理後，可有效降低BMI、血壓、空腹血糖。

A pretest and posttest intervention trial with one control group was used to evaluate the effect of case management (including group health education, encouragement to participate in health promoting activities, telephone interviews, and home visits, etc) on metabolic syndrome (MS) components. There were 52 individuals in the case management group, and 76 in the control group. The case management group showed significant reduction in body weight, body mass index (BMI), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) , and fasting blood glucose as compared to control group. In conclusion, after six months of case management, individuals with MS have successfully reduced their BMI, blood pressure, and fasting blood glucose.
