Based on the perspectives of cross-cultural understanding and mutual respect, the research subject of this study is through interview and questionnaires with Taiwanese and Japanese university female student to probe into they will hide their disagreement in what kind of situations. In the meantime, this study analyzed and concluded the reason.The results showed that ”other” relevant factors are the most important reasons for Taiwanese and Japanese, such as ”compassionate each other's emotions,” ”the other's attitude,” ” leader-member relationship,” ”mutually relationship in the future,” etc. This is arising out of taking into account each other's emotions, and mutually relationship, so they meet each other's positive face. Furthermore, both Taiwanese and Japanese tend to express their own opinions when they disagree with their family or friends. But when the objects are unfamiliar, they choose to hind their opinion. |
