Space Science Competitions

2018年的太空黑客松則由法國國家太空中山（CNES）和歐洲太空總署（ESA）共同舉辦，以「太空新角色」、「新經濟」、「人類與太空」三個概念進行規劃。活動籌備初期，國研院太空中心便受邀共同舉辦，同時以台灣太空計畫為基礎，運用現在還在太空中執行任務的福爾摩沙衛星三號全球大氣資料，以及人類未來的月球探索兩大主題為競賽題目，讓全球前黑客松參賽者一起挑戰。在此次「台法太空創新黑客松」競答活動中，現場選手提出了許多相當具有前瞻性的方案，未來可望成為各先進國家規劃未來太空計畫的參考。

The 2018 ActinSpace (Hackathon) was jointly organized by the French Government Space Agency (The National Center for Space Studies, CNES) and the European Space Agency (ESA). It was planned with the concepts of ''new space role'', ''new economy and ''human and space'. At the beginning of the event, National Space Organization (NSPO). National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs) was invited to jointly organize this activity based on the Taiwan space program with two themes including the application of current FORMOSAT-3 global atmospheric data and the future human moon exploration. The hackathon players around the world come to challenge these two themes of the competition. In this 2018 ActinSpace competition, the players put forward many quite forward-looking plans, which can be expected to become reference cases for planning advanced space projects in advanced countries in the future.
