On April 25, 2019, two Vice-Rectors of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Jolanta Choińska- Mika and Prof. Maciej Duszczyk, and the Deputy Director of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Prof. Józef Pawłowski, visited NCL Director- General Shu-hsien Tseng. In addition to speaking with Director-General Tseng about their library buildings, collections and resources, depositary systems, and open access facilities, Director- General Tseng also gave them an introduction to the NCL’s special sinology-related programs including financial support for foreign scholars wishing to conduct research in Taiwan, Taiwan Resource Centers for Chinese Studies (TRCCS), and the collaborative Unified Catalogue of Chinese Rare Books. After the meeting, NCL staff took them on a guided tour of the library’s services and facilities. |
