失業率與經濟成長相關性之研究

Study on the Correlation between Unemployment Rate and Economic Growth

研究探討失業率與經濟成長之關聯性及影響。失業率為影響總體經濟之重要因素，經由年失業率與年經濟成長率兩者的數據方面來探討其是否有相關性。實證研究結果發現失業率與經濟成長率之間存在負向關係。亦即失業率對經濟成長具負面之影響，失業率過高將降低經濟成長率。故相關單位應於政策上加以改進，將失業率控制於一定之範圍以提高經濟成長率。

This study explores the relevance and impact of unemployment and economic growth. The unemployment rate is an important factor affecting the overall economy, and data use to analyze is annual unemployment rate and annual economic growth rate. The empirical study found there is a negative relationship between unemployment rate and economic growth rate. That means unemployment rate has a negative impact on economic growth. Too high unemployment rate will reduce the economic growth rate. Therefore, relevant units should improve their policies and control the unemployment rate to a certain extent to increase the economic growth rate.
