論漢字的部件──以「口」為例

Discussing the Component ''口'' of Chinese Character

漢字部件具有拆解性與組合性，因此漢字部件狀況的掌握與漢字的學習成就息息相關。然而，漢字部件經過許多歷時性的演變才有現今的呈現，這使得許多部件的意義被誤解，導致漢字的組成被錯釋。本篇以「口」部件為例，籍之凸顯此種狀況及後果，期對從事對外華語教學的工作者起提示作用。

Chinese character radicals possess decompositional and compositional properties. As a result, mastery of Chinese character radicals and academic achievement in the learning of Chinese characters are closely related. However, the current appearance of Chinese character radicals is the result of having gone through many diachronic evolutions, causing numerous misunderstandings of the meanings of Chinese character radicals. This has lead to misinterpretation of the composition of Chinese characters. This study will take the Chinese character radical ”口” as an example in order to clear1y present this situation and the consequences. This will serve the purpose of raising awareness among educators engaged in Chinese language teaching.
