The influences of demographic transition, technological advancement, evolution of production and employment system, and climate change have driven the transformation of industrial structure and future jobs rapidly. The Fourth industrial Revolution will bring a massive productivity improvement, which is different from the technological upgrading and transformation past time, and deeply influenced by economic growth and social development. It also turns the new challenges brought about by the external environmental changes into unprecedented employment opportunities. Through literature analysis and secondary data analysis, this research reviews the international organizations’ reports and white papers, and try to discuss the global mega trends, industrial structure, and the challenges of the Taiwan labor force. The conclusion also brings out the practical advices to government, company and worker for facing the future of work. Therefore, this research focuses on describing the changes of global industrial development and employment structure, then indicate the current situation and challenges of Taiwan's industrial labor force, and finally propose what government, enterprises and individuals should think and action for facing the change of future works. |
