The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has designated 2017 as the 'International Year of Sustainable Tourism Development'. The aim is to promote the development of sustainable tourism that integrates environmental resources, industrial development, cultural values and social welfare.This article intends to use the deep ploughing and social practice of Fo Guang University to explore the humanities, religion, ecology and the development of resources in the study of the religious depths of the Putuoyan/(Gonglan Temple) in Yilan Guishan Island. An artistic Temple Stay. In addition to the preface and conclusion, this article is divided into four 'Reviews of literature, related tourism patterns of Guishan Island, temple building space of Gonglan Temple , and The military worships the Bodhisattva changed its name to Putuoyan'. From its geographical space, human history and religious attributes, it has the importance of being a religious tourism resource in Yilan. It is worthy of cross-cultural (Gonglan Temple, Renai House), official (Religious Counseling of the Ministry of the Interior, Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Communications), local (Jiaoxi Township, Toucheng Township,Yilan County), and Academic (Fo Guang University) conduct joint planning and development of cross-domain cooperation thinking, from single-point or single-line tourism.
