A validity study of Factor B of Cattell 16PF was carried 0ut in a college sample. The correlations with total ACE scores were .159 and .427 for the male and female groups. Factor B scale also had lower correlations with performance measures in an introductory psychology course than other intelligence measures. These results suggested the limited usefulness of Factor a scale for the college students. |
