The Student Counseling Center of National Taiwan University was founded in conjunction with the Office of Dean of Students in March, 1964, by the Department of Psychology. The project includes four subprojects, namely, counseling, personnel training, research, and extension service. The Center consists of a director, two assistant directors and seven counselors. Now I will describe it as follows: A. Counseling During the period from March, 1964 to June, 1965, 112 clients of 20 girls and 92 boys came to the Center for counseling and/or testing. The total number of interviewing sessions was 209. The following classification is based on the analysis of these 112 clients. |
