Studies on the Variation of Chromosonal Numbers of Cattleyas Their Flower Size, Leaf Size and Size and Number of Stomata

1.染色體觀察法用低溫固定法。2.蘭科植物染色體變異很大，是一種染色體複雜的植物。3.供試品種有82品種，其中多數為倍數體，而以三倍體最多，四倍體次之，其他亦有二倍體。4.本試驗研究染色體數目與花大，葉片大小，氣孔之大小及數目之變異。5.染色體多者，即倍數體之植株，一般而言花形大而美，同時葉形亦較大，氣孔大而數目少。6.提供82品種花的色彩作育成優良品種之參考。7.由染色體的研究，可藉此探求優良親本，可提供育種上之主要基礎。
