化學藥品對於柑橘及香蕉貯藏效應

EFFECT OF ORGANC CHEMICALS ON KEEPING QUALITYOF BANANA AND CITRUS FRUITS

1.富麗鮮（Fresher）及久綠拿（Greener）係兩種有機化學藥品，有抑制植物體蒸發作用。2.兩種藥品溶液各用五倍水稀釋，將樣品在該溶液內浸漬一至二分鐘，在室溫下觀察其效應，該試驗係在臺中市省立中興大學農學院園藝系進行。3.據調查記載及統計分析結果，處理與未處理間果實蒸發效應是顯著的，富麗鮮優於久綠拿，自椪柑果皮開始縐縮來觀察，經富麗鮮處理者則未處理者晚於卅日，經久綠拿處理者則晚於十日，經過六十日儲藏結果，未處理者腐爛果佔5.96%，經藥品處理者各佔1.48%。處理與未處理間果實內含糖主變化是顯著的且為直線的變化，然兩種藥品間變化不顯著，含酸量則不顯著，且為曲線的變化。4.在香蕉方面，無論經電石處理與否，抑制其蒸發是顯著的。未追熟香蕉用富麗鮮處理者較久綠拿處理者為優。

Banana and ponkan (Citrus poonensis) are the main output among fresh fruitsin Taiwan. In these fruits deterioration in shiping and shrinkage during marketing ranges from 5 to 20 per cent. Therefore, these fruits must be marketed in a short period. Many progressive countries pay attention to the keeping quality of these fresh fruits. There are two organic chemicals (Fresher and Greener,) Petro-chemical which may ad]ust the water evaporation in plants. According to the experiment in the apple and oranges, an excllent record has already been obtained. This study deals with the use of Fresher and Greener on banana and citrus fruits to observe their effects.
