The·Department of Horticulture, College of Agricullurc, Taiwan Provincial Chung Hsing University has eatablished a Tree Fruit Experiment Station since 1958 through the financial support and technical assistance from JCRR. At present, a toral of 18 verieties of apple trees and 30 varieties of pear trees have been planted in this ststion.An experimental project was carried out during 1961-62 with the purpose of investigation the most suitable variety and the best management practices to follow. |
