Nutrient concentrations in leaves of peach and plum grown on high altitude in central Taiwan were investigated. Concentrations of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu and Mn in leaves of peach showed in the normal range. While N in leaves of Kelsey plum was above normal level and Mg in leaves of Sordum plum were below normal content as compared with the established U. S. standard. Significant difference in mineral concentrations was formed between cultivars. Positive correlation was also noted between number of fruiting branches and leaf C/N. |
