Effects of nutrient component (A: rice bran + flour; B: rice bran; C: flour) and content (20, 25 & 30% by weight and the rest are Castanopsis sp. saw dust) on the dry shiitake production of PE bag cultivation were investigated. Number 366 shiitake spawn was inoculated to PE bags on Oct. 2nd, 1989, and the experiment was over on March 24th, 1990. The results showed that three nutrient components and three contents significantly influenced dry shiitake production, i.e. rice bran + flour > rice bran > flour and 25 > 30 >20 (% by weight). Also the interaction of nutrient component and content was significant. Rice bran + flour could produce higher quality of shiitake when the content was 25%. Therefore, it is highly recommended that using rice bran+flour+ Castanopsis sp. saw dust = 12.5:12.5:75% by weight could produce high amount and high quality of dry shiitake by PE bag cultivation. |
