柿樹枝梢週年生長之觀察

Observation on Shoot Growth of Persimmon (Diospyros kaki L. cv. 'Niou-Sin' and 'Square')

嘉義（番路鄉）及苗栗（公館鄉）兩地之氣溫大致相同，然而苗栗地區之地溫較嘉義為低。隨著地溫不同，柿樹之生長週期亦略有不同，嘉義較苗栗地區萌芽開花及果實轉色比較早，且採收成熟期更可提早達80天以上。兩地均自12月下旬（冬至）開始落葉，四星期後完全落葉進入休眠期。

The air temperature of Chia-Yi (Fan-Luh) and Miaur-Lih (Gung-Guan) was quite similiar. However, soil temperature of Miaur-Lih district was lower than that of Chia-Yi. The growth period of persimmon varies with different soil temperatures. Bud bursting, flowering and color changing of fruits took place earlier at Chia-Yi district than at Miaur-Lih, with harvest time over 80 days preceding that of the latter. In Chia-Yi and Miaur-Lih, leaf shedding of persimmon began on Dec. 22 and entered into dormant stage four weeks later when leaf shedding was completed.
