香花植物之研究第一報：臺灣秀英植物分類學上之檢討

Studies on the Aromatics (I) A Certain Taxonomy Consideration on 'Shiow-ying' of Taiwan

本試驗探討包種茶賦香劑在來種秀英花之正確學名。經考證及實地調查結果，秀英花學名應為Jasminum officinale, L. forma grandiflorum, (L.) Kobuski。

An experiment was conducted to elucidate the correct scientific name of ”Shiow-ying” of Taiwan which has been used as one of the flavoring agents of jasmin tea. After carefully literature reviewed, and under field inspection, the scientific name of ”Shiow-ying” of Taiwan is proposed to be Jasminum officinale, L. forma grandiflorum, (L) Kobuski.
