本省洋蔥採種因冬季低溫不足，種球栽植前須行低溫（5-10℃）處理二個月，而種球大小以中球（直徑6.6-8.0cm）以上者為最佳，採種地以本省南部地區較為適合，每10公畝採種量可達27.2-45.4公斤。 |
| 英文摘要 |
The results of this experiment showed that in order to obtain better seed production, the onion bulb required two months 5-10℃ low temperature treatment before planting and the optimum bulb size being 6.6-8.0cm. in diameter. The southern part of Taiwan seems to be the suitable area for onion seed production. Seed yield obtained in this experiment has reached 60-100 pounds per 0.1 hactare. |
