偃枝整枝與栽培密度對玫瑰花切花產量和品質之影響

Effect of Bending Shoots and Spacing on the Quantities and Quality of Rose Cut Flowers

玫瑰花扦插苗種在60cm x 40cm x 30cm （長x寬x高）之塑膠籃，以偃枝整枝每籃種4、6或8株，或以標準整枝每籃種4、6或8株每籃種4株栽培。在經八個月的切花生產後，主幹之直徑以偃枝整枝每籃種4株者最粗。'Samantha'根系鮮重，以標準整枝或偃枝整枝且每籃種4株最重。‘Pitica’經標準整枝者，根系鮮重會較偃枝整枝者輕。‘Landora’相同栽培密度的植株，以偃技整枝根鮮重較重。而偃枝栽培密度愈高，根鮮重愈輕。單株切花產量，‘Samantha’和‘Landora’以每籃種4株單株產量最高、不同整枝法影響不顯著。‘Pitica’則以偃枝整枝每籃種4株最高。每籃的切花產量，‘Pitica’標準一般整枝法的切花產量最低，且較短的切花數量較多，較長的切花數量較少。但經偃枝整枝者，栽培密度愈高，每籃的切花產量愈高、而且切花長度較長的切花數越多。另外偃枝整枝者，其第2個月至第5個月所採收的切花品質指數更顯著提高，尤以高密度栽培者更顯著。

Rose cuttings were cultured by different pruning and spacing. At the end of 8 -month harvest, the largest stem diameter of 'Samantha' or 'Landora' was the plant treated by bending shoots and spacing at a level of 4, or 4~6 plants per basket, respectively. The stem diameter of 'Pitica' was enhanced by bending shoots but not by spacing. The root weight of 'Samantha' was affected by spacing but not pruning; the plant with the closer space was the lighter root weight. The root weight of 'Pitica' was affected by pruning but not by spacing. Plants cultured by bending shoots had heavier root weight than that by standard pruning had. On 'Landora' plants, the root weight was affected by both spacing and pruning. Plants cultured by bending shoots and closer planting got lighter root weight. To compare the harvest of cut flowers in 8 months, the looser spacing plant got the higher production. On 'Landora' and 'Pitica', bending shoots was better than standard pruning for managing plants to get high quality of cut flowers, especially in the 2nd to the 5th month during the harvest.
