The Asparagus Decline and Replant Problem in Taiwan

本文申述臺灣蘆筍栽培發生衰產情況及需要更新迫切程度，作者從蘆筍之生產有利年限，引起衰產之原因及蘆筍不能在老田換新再種等觀點，乃至臺灣面臨蘆筍更新之嚴重性，作有系統之說明及討論，更綜合世界各國對蘆筍立枯病之防治方法，以供作解決臺灣目前蘆筍衰產及更新兩問題之參考，並依臺灣蘆筍生產之條件提供改善生產之途徑。

Asparagus decline and replanting are the two important problems encountered by the asparagus in Taiwan at present. The profitable productive period, causes of asparagus decline, and reasons of the fact that old asparagus field can not be used for replanting in Taiwan were explained and disccassed in the text. Fusarium wilt control practices of asparagus in various countries have also been summarized for reference. Suggestions to improve the situation of asparagus decline and replant problems in Taiwan are provided.
