Since 2006, the Ministry of Education of Taiwan has encouraged senior high and lower schools to voluntarily conduct teacher professional development evaluation and to transform into a support system for teacher professional development by the year 2017. All these aim at inducing teachers’ cooperation, introspection and professional growth to meet the demands of differentiated teaching, practical teaching and creative teaching. For the current education and care service personnel, it is like a twilight bell, reminding them to pay attention to the pulse of education and continue professional growth so as to advance together with the creative maker, and do their best to fulfill the mission of our times, that is, cultivating future citizens.Therefore, this study adopted a questionnaire survey method and stratified random sampling of 308 national education and care service personnel,focusing on exploring the current situation of practical teaching and creative teaching of education and care service personnel. It analyzed the relationship between practical teaching and creative teaching and professional development attitudes in order to understand the possible factors affecting teachers’ professional development attitudes. It found that education and care service personnel have a high level of professional development attitude and moderate teaching practice and creative teaching performance. Senior teachers’ teaching practice and creative teaching performance are relatively good, and the professional development attitude of teachers with better education background is relatively high. The teaching practice of teaching and care service personnel has a positive explanatory effect on creative teaching. The teaching practice and creative teaching of teaching and care service personnel can indirectly influence teachers’ professional development attitudes through the complete intermediary roleof creative teaching. According to the conclusion, this study puts forward relevant suggestions for the promotion of teaching practice, creative teaching and professional development practice of education and care service personnel. |
