本文建立在鄉、鎮、城的空間框架下，聚焦王家三姐妹的生命際遇如何隨著權力起伏變化，剖析權力對日常生活的介入。在王家莊，國家權力的滲透體現在性活動上。支書父親的倒台直接或間接導致了女兒玉米和玉秀處女膜的破裂。在斷橋鎮，權力通過「北京時間」的播報置入小鎮居民的日常生活。而師範學校的生活受到最嚴密的監控。一方面，國家操縱集體記憶，設立一二九紀念日，組織學生紀念共產黨的功績，鞏固政權。另一方面，學生的肉體受到權力的規訓，變得「柔順」。 Based on the frame of space(village, town and city), this essay is planning to analyze the influence of power on daily life, focusing on how state power influences the life experience of three sisters. In the village, political power is demonstrated via sex. The fall of the father causes the broken hymen of his two daughters, directly or indirectly. In the town, state power is introduced into daily life by Beijing time. While in a normal school in a city, daily life is controlled in the most stringent way. On the one hand, to memorize the achievement of the Party, the government manipulates collective memory through setting memorial day. On the other, students' bodies are disciplined to docile bodies.
