應用分層設色圖呈現地區健康指標差異：以處方重複率為例

跨地域間健康議題不均性的分析，在公共衛生及流行病學是個重要的課題，藉由分層設色圖來呈現跨地域間健康主題是個值得探討的主題。本研究利用健保署公布的107年第三季各醫院三高用藥重複處方率，以台灣分層設色圖呈現縣市別間健康議題不均性的分佈與比較。以圖例輔助分層設色圖的習性說明，累計次數分配應搭配分層設色圖來呈現。我們發現三高重複給藥在各縣市的表現未呈均等；累計次數分配的圖例說明能夠輔助分層設色圖提供更精準的訊息。未來可利用分層設色圖分析更多健康相關議題，更有效地將視覺資訊提供給醫療相關部門及其讀者群。 Disparities in health outcomes across regions are a central concern in public health and epidemiology. Health disparities research often links differences in health outcomes to other factors like count frequency. Choropleth maps of health outcome rates showing the geographical distribution of health outcomes need to study. We downloaded data from the website of Taiwan government-run National Health Insurance Administration(NHIA) to illustrate the use of cumulative frequency map legends(CFML) for visualizing how the health events are distributed in relation to count frequency. Three types of therapeutic duplication of medication in patients with high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high blood lipids among counties and cities in Taiwan were applied to present choropleth maps on Google Maps. We applied CFML to complement the choropleth maps and verified that the CFML should be revealed and reported to readers with respect to the choropleth maps. Inconsistent on ranking results across drug types across counties/cities in Taiwan was evident. Online dynamic dashboards of elder populations around the island were also demonstrated using the choropleth maps. CFML can be useful supplements for choropleth maps and effectively to communicate the proportion of areas and count frequency to readers in the future.
