從陳從周的寫作風格論中國傳統園林美學

A Discourse on the Landscape Aesthetics of Chinese Traditional Garden through Chen Cong­Zhou's Style of Writing

陳從周卓然成家的園林研究歷程與論著，其獨特的語言文字論述中國傳統園林藝術的精理，對中國傳統園林藝術之體悟、整理和傳承所做的貢獻，實在值得後人深入探討。本文以陳從周的文藝寫作風格為據，論述其作為建築史（地景史）學者中在論著上能成一家之言，且在寫作文體上能保持獨特風格的文人（Stylist），透過陳的文本寫作風格來體認江南文人的園林藝術所表徵的特定美感意識，同時也詮釋特定社會歷史時勢的因緣際會，如何促使中國傳統園林藝術轉化成為寄寓遊子客居心靈之所。 Chen Cong-Zhou is a classic landscape artist in modern China who was also a stylist. This essay tries to articulate the landscape aesthetics of Chinese traditional garden through Chen’s style of writing, as well as to interpret how Chinese traditional garden provides nostalgia of floating mind with the visual ideology of classic landscape art under specific historic conjunction.
