Intergeneric Crosses between Erycina Pusilla and Tolumnia Cultivars

將扇形文心蘭和3個劍葉文心蘭栽培品種進行屬間雜交之結果，正反交均可著果，著果率介於6.3%-65%之間，但皆只生成少量種子。正反交比較，以劍葉文心蘭為母本時種子發芽數較多。雜交種子於授粉後12週採收播種者具有發芽能力；培養基中添加奈乙酸可提高種子發芽率。屬間雜交種子播種後14個月植株開花，兼具兩親本性狀。本研究成功建立扇形文心蘭與劍葉文心蘭屬間雜交及種苗培育的方法。 Intergeneric crosses between Erycina pusilla and three cultivars of Tolumnia were conducted. The percentages of fruit set for flowers in all combinations of reciprocal crosses ranged from 6.3%-65%. Only a few seeds developed in the fruit, however. Hybrid seeds from Tolumnia cultivars as female parents germinated more than those from Erycina pusilla as female parent. Only those hybrid seeds harvested 12 weeks after pollination could germinate. Seed germination increased when1-Naphthaleneacetic acid was added in the medium. The hybrid offsprings flowered 14 months after seed sowing and they showed characteristics of both parents. We have successfully established the technique of cross hybridization between Erycina pusilla and Tolumnia cultivars and that to cultivate the hybrid offsprings.
