本研究之目的在探討學生從事園藝操作及操作時之表現,是否會影響其注意力之改變及成就感的獲得。本研究共調查6次園藝課程的園藝操作,包括整地、施基肥拌肥、移苗、立支架、播種、除草、疏苗、收拾整理農具等。在每次園藝課程前、後,皆利用Necker Cube Pattern Control測驗NCPCT;透過前後測值差異了解受測者注意力變化。在園藝課程結束後,並利用所設計之成就感及園藝操作表現問卷請受測者自我評估。結果顯示,園藝操作前後受測者的注意力值有顯著差異;操作有助於注意力的提升。又學生從事園藝操作之表現與其注意力之提升程度以及獲得成就感多少有顯著正相關。園藝操作表現越好的學生,獲得的成就感越多,對提升注意力之效果也越大。
The purpose of this study was to test the effect of engagement in horticultural field activities on students' enhancement in attention and their sense of achievement. Students engaged in six classes of vegetable growing were involved in this study. Horticultural field activities included soil preparation, base fertilizer application, transplanting, prop installation, seed sowing, weeding, plant thinning and cleaning of gardening tools. The Necker Cube Pattern Control (NCPC) test was used to examine students' attention and a questionnaire developed for each course was used to evaluate students' performance in horticultural field activities and students' sense of achievement. The results showed that engagement in horticultural activities enhanced students' attention and their sense of achievement. Furthermore, students' performance in horticultural field activities had positive relationship with students' enhancement in attention as well as their sense of achievement; the better the performance, the more attention enhancement as well as the more sense of achievement. |
