The object of this study is to apply the smart Magnetorheological damper to the performance-oriented bridge isolation system. This study is based on the research of the Magnetorheological damper in NCREE. In the recent year, the design, manufacture, test and system identification of NCREE's Magnetorheological damper has been done. This study uses the Magnetorheological damper with the rolling pendulum system to generate the hybrid controlled bridge isolation system. The scaled-down bridge model of the integrate project is used in this study as the control structure. Through numerical simulation, the control effect of the hybrid bridge isolation system with Magnetorheological damper and rolling pendulum system are verified. |
