Several studies on synthesis, characteristics, and properties of Nanocrystalline(NC) TiO2 particles have been published [1-3]. Titanium dioxide has been used in a great variety of applications also. The purpose of this study is to build the database for multi-functioning nanocrystalline gas sensors and good selectivity. In this study, to evaluate adsorption properties of NC rutile or anatase TiO2 particle in this study, molecular simulation is employed to calculate the binding energies of CO gas on TiO2 surface at different temperatures and pressures. |
