The Development Retrospect of Propulsion Subsystem

本文針對福衛五號衛星推進次系統自主發展的歷程，從衛星的任務需求、次系統的設計、分析、組裝與測試，以至於在軌道上進行操作的一些回顧。福衛五號所採用的推進類型是冷氣流系統，具有系統簡單、可靠度高和安全的特質，從整個自主發展歷程所得的經驗到目前成功地在軌道上運作，對於我國未來發展更高效能的衛星推進系統，有其特別的意義。 Current article focuses on some retrospects, concerning the propulsion related mission requirements, subsystem design, analysis, integration, verification and test, and the in-orbit operation, for the self-reliant development of the propulsion subsystem of FORMOSAT-5 satellite. FORMOSAT-5 has equipped a cold gas system, which is a simple, highly safe and reliable system. The experiences gained through the development process and the successful fl ight operation in orbit will defi nitely help us to develop the propulsion systems with higher performance for future satellite applications.
