The purposes of this research are to induct the characteristics of tribe visitors' travel motivation, involvement toward settlement's history and culture, travel destination choice criteria, and the levels of their satisfaction with service attributes and willingness to revisit. First, the positive correlations were demonstrated between variables as mentioned above. Furthermore, a cluster analysis was applied to group tree clusters on the basis of 366 participants' patterns of travel motivation. Finally, based on the rationales of Elaboration Likelihood Model, the current research found that Culture-Ecology Enthusiasts, a cluster with the highest travel motivation, prefer to visit indigenous tribe rather than visit Hakka villages. Also, they highly involve in Taiwanese settlements' history and culture in Taiwanese features, more focus on intrinsic service attributes provided from travel agents, more satisfied with the service qualities, and as anticipated, have higher re-visit tendency than the other two clusters. |
