原住民原生精神之研究創作──頭髮材質應用造形配飾為例

Application Indigenous Peoples' Native Spirit - Using Hair Materials as Make Hair Styling Accessories

我們來自何方？我們源自何處？在一片強調自我意識崛起的聲浪中，是否還能感受到血液裡不息的源流？為何主題是原住民，關於原始，來自源頭，同在台灣長大的人們，在血液中多少都有這樣的相同成分，渴望從這個研究做為開端，找到文化裡屬於這一塊的台灣精神，希望這個精神延續在頭髮創作的意義和價值。臺灣原住民族屬於南島語族，也是南島語族最為早期的根源，其中又以魯凱族與排灣族最為代表性與歷史性的起點。希望透過這次的發想與研究，屏除既定印象的圖騰應用設計，是為尋覓原生精神所象徵的應用可能，從圖畫創作到擷取形狀符號，進而利用頭髮材質為主、麻線為輔之原始性材料，與生活中常見的造型配飾做結合及設計，並以筆者其美髮專業領域的經驗與觀察累積，結合頭髮材質與造型配飾，期許得到符合台灣原住民原生精神之創作應用，且更廣泛的將頭髮材質發揮在不同於以往的流行商業髮型設計，提供其研究貢獻與價值。 Where do we come from? Where do we originate from? Can you still feel the never-ending flow originating from our blood, even surrounded by the voice crying for the rise of self-awareness? Why is the research theme focusing on indigenous peoples? This is all about the origin, the very source of Taiwan. Growing and being cultivated in Taiwan, we all share the same background more or less in our blood. From the dawn of this research, the author was eager to find the Taiwanese spirit carved in the culture of Taiwanese aborigines and hoped this spirit can pass down its meaning and value in the creation of hair design. Being Austronesian-speaking peoples, the indigenous peoples of Taiwan are also the earliest origin of this group, with Rukai and Paiwan, especially, have been the most representative group since the historical starting point. Through the conception and the research, the author aims to firstly remove the stereotyped impressions on the application and design of ethnic totems in search for the possibilities of applying the symbols of the original spirit appearing from drawings to the unique shape of symbols. Secondly, to create new designs, hair materials and twin were used as raw materials and were combined with styling accessories commonly found in daily life. In addition, the designed was based on the author's experiences and observations on hairdressing with different hair materials and styling accessories. The research is expected to obtain the creation and application that are in accordance with the original spirit of Taiwanese indigenous peoples, and furthermore, it can provide a wide variety of the applications to hair materials in hair designing which is different from the mainstream fashion industry. In addition, it offers research contributions and value for further study.
