What is a legal research?

本文的目的在於簡要說明何謂法學研究。法學研究是一項思考活動，而論文則是記述研究成果的書面。從事法學研究的人，應具備下列三個條件才能產出成功的論文：有足夠的法律知識、具有解釋及適用法律的能力、具有運用研究資料的能力。研究人在從事研究時，應運用在法學領域中公認的法學研究方法。 The purpose of the article is to elucidate what is a legal research. A legal research is a thinking activity, while a legal thesis is a written document recording research results. A person who wants to do a successful legal research should meet the following requirements: having sufficient legal knowledge, having the ability to interpret and apply law, and having the ability to utilize research materials. When engaging in legal research, a researcher should utilize the proper methods which are generally recognized for doing legal research in legal domain.
