Finding Capability Index of Information Education in 12 - Year National Education by Delphi Method

This research is to find capability index of information education in 12-year national education by using modified Delphi method to integrate the viewpoints of experts in Taiwan. The modified Delphi method is used to integrate the viewpoints of experts so that they could have full discussion about this topic. For the viewpoint of academic information technology teachers, through literature review and modified Delphi method, we sorted out 13 capability projects and 69 indicators to build capacity index for the education of information technology. The results show that “Practicing law and ethical behaviour＂, “Innovation ability＂ and “Research ability＂ are the top 3 important indexes. Other important indexes are listed for reference. Students in middle school are suggested to learn the ability to achieve the four directions of learning performance in the 108-year syllabus and their ability to learn in the future, provide education-related units as the reference for improving teaching, thereby enhancing the relevance of information technology education in our country.
