台中市大坑地區蝴蝶標本採集紀錄

Butterflies from the Dakeng Area of Taichung City, Central Taiwan

大坑地區爲台灣中部台中市東側之山地丘陵，海拔最高處爲頭嵙山（859m）。本研究自2007年6月至2009年5月間以標本採集方式調查本區之蝴蝶資源，結果共記錄蝴蝶5科169種，約占台灣地區蝴蝶種數之40%，含弄蝶科（Hesperiidae）27種、鳳蝶科（Papilionidae）21種、粉蝶科（Pieridae）19種、灰蝶科（Lycaenidae）36種及蛺蝶科（Nymphalidae）66種；其中大黑星弄蝶（Seseria formosana）、台灣鳳蝶（Papilio thaiwanus）、埔里三線蝶（Neptis taiwana）及大波紋蛇目蝶（Ypthima formosana）等4種爲台灣特有種。以往被認爲在台灣僅分布於北部的大琉璃紋鳳蝶（P. paris）在本研究亦有採集紀錄。本文列出大坑地區蝴蝶標本採集紀錄。

A survey of butterflies was conducted in the Dakeng area in the northeastern part of Taichung City, Central Taiwan, June 2007 to May 2009. The highest mountain in the area is Toukoshan with an elevation of 859m. A total of 169 species of butterflies were collected, occupying 40% of the total butterfly species known in Taiwan. They belonged to 5 families: Hesperiidae (27 species), Papilionidae (21 species), Pieridae (19 species), Lycaenidae (36 species), and Nymphalidae (66 species). Among them, four species were endemic to Taiwan: Seseria formosana, Papilio thaiwanus, Neptis taiwana, and Ypthima formosana. Also, Papilio paris that had been known only from the northern Taiwan was first recorded in this area of the central Taiwan. A list of the butterflies collected is provided.
