Taoyuan Public Library Longtan Branch and Teng Yu-hsien Taiwanese Music Memorial Hall Open On November 6, 2018, the opening ceremony took place for the Taoyuan Public Library Longtan Branch and Teng Yu-hsien Taiwanese Music Memorial Hall. The library combines music, audio-visual, reading, study, and exhibition functions, while also offering visitors views of the surrounding landscape. This intelligent, completely digital library and small-scale cultural center also houses the Teng Yu-hsien Taiwanese Music Memorial Hall, which maintains a collection of historical materials associated with Taiwanese music and the life and music of the father of Taiwanese folk song, Teng Yu-hsien. The music museum includes old musical instruments, vinyl records, and gramophones, while also offering visitors a Virtual Reality experience. |
