世界各國許多研究已證實以故障電流限制器(Fault Current Limiter, FCL)來降低電力網路中某些線路短路電流,達到安全保護的目的,是保護系統及降低短路電流的最有效方案之一。為解決因船舶短路電流日益增大造成電力保護開關在規劃及設計上所面臨的挑戰,本文提出以故障電流限制器來改善船舶短路電流。修正阻抗矩陣法(modified impedance matrix method)被用來分析故障電流限制器加入船電系統後對短路電流之影響,以決定故障電流限制器最適裝設策略。測試結果以實船電力資料來說明故障電流限制提應用於船舶短路電流之改善效果。
Many countries have studied the advantages of fault current limiters (FCLs) that are one of the effective strategies for system protection and short circuit improvement and used them to reduce fault currents in a power network for system security purpose. In order to deal with challenges in switchgears planning and design due to increasing level of short circuit currents in ships, FCLs are proposed in this paper to improve short circuit currents. A modified impedance matrix method is used to analyze the effect of FCLs on short circuit currents for determining the suitable placement strategy for FCLs. Test results of a practical ship electric power system are presented and illustrated to demonstrate the effectiveness of improving short circuit currents in ships by using FCLs. |
