本文主要探討VARTM(Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding)技術中樹脂的流動特性,藉著模擬VARTM製程之分析工具,建立VARTM施工法的理論基礎外,亦可探明影響該工法產品品質良劣之相關變數,進而建立VARTM製程之最佳化設計能力。文中針對國內船廠所使用之纖維積層進行討論,藉由設計一整套實驗,將試驗片之樹脂滲透參數求出,並從中尋求規律性、提出滲透率預估方式,使得不同積層組合纖維預型材之滲透率可不經由實驗即可預估得到;其次,將相關參數代入數值分析軟體RTM-Worx中,對實驗進行數值模擬,進而利用軟體求出灌注船殼時較佳之管路佈置方式及相對位置,使船廠能在實際作業前,不需做任何實驗,即可事先預知灌注時樹脂流動的情形,如此,便可掌握施工時可能會發生之狀況並加以改善,進而有效提升VARTM技術之效能與競爭力。
This paper investigates on flow characteristics of resins in the process of VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding). By the theoretical investigation, the simulated methods can be established and the parameters influencing the quality of product in VARTM will be reviewed. Furthermore, the optimization of the fabrication process can be achieved.In this research, serial experimental measurements, in which the material like resins and fibers are consistent with those used in domestic ship makers in practice, were conducted to determine the parameters. From the experimental data, the predicted model for permeability can be developed and the permeability of different fiber preforms can be obtained by this method without further experiment. Then, by using the software RTM-Worx(superscript TM), the experimental process can be simulated, and the resin flow pattern during lamination can be predicted from numerical analysis before the ship structure is made. Therefore, the manufacture efficiency and the product quality can be improved and then the competitiveness of Taiwan's ship building industry can also be promoted. |
