蒐藏研究組主要為科技文物之蒐集、典藏、保存、研究及學術交流等事項，另外從97年度開始負責本館圖書出版相關業務及「圖書視聽中心」的營運。本組依循著本館「蒐藏宗旨」來進行業務規劃與執行：探討科技基本原理及發展沿革。記錄科技對我國民生發展上的重大影響。反省科技發展歷程，以促進大眾瞭解科技與社會之相互影響。表彰或實證我國科技發展上的重要成就。 The Collections and Research Division is responsible for collection, research, preservation, conservation and exchange of scientific technical heritages. In addition, beginning in 2008, it also takes charge of affairs related to the Museum’s publications and the operation of the “Audiovisual Library.” The Division is operated according to the “Collection Purposes” of the Museum to carry out business plans and execution: To explore basic science and technology principles and development evolution. To record the major impacts of science and technology on our nation’s livelihood. To reflect the history of science and technology development in order to allow the public to understand the mutual affects of science and society.To commend or verify the major achievement of our nation’s science and technology development.
