道路施工時,通常會設置具區隔及警示作用之交通錐,但通常擺放不齊且花費大量人力,甚至有交通錐質地過輕傾倒造成用路人危險的意外。本研究目的為開發可遠端遙控、監控現場並與施工現地互動之智慧交通錐,研究成果可應用於改善一般道路施工可能發生之意外,和減低放置與調整施工號誌所需的人力及時間成本,提升整體施工效率。本研究為結合機器人技術與施工號誌系統之前導研究之一,獲兩件台灣發明專利(I 495772、I 479068)與一件美國發明專利(US 9,127,420 B2)。
During road construction, traffic corns are frequently used to isolate construction area and warn road users and workers. However, placing construction corns are time consuming and difficult to arrange them in a tidy manner. Light construction corns tend to topple and fall causing hazards to pedestrians. This study develops an intelligent traffic cone that can be controlled remotely, used to monitor construction site, and interact with road workers. The proposed device can enhance construction safety, reduce time and cost of the cone placement, and improve managerial efficiency. The developed intelligent traffic cone is one of the first integrating automation technology with construction signal systems. Research results are patented with two Taiwan invention patents with numbers I 495772 and I 479068, and one US patent with number US 9,127,420 B2. |
