台灣中部地區蝴蝶資源綜論

The Butterflies Resource of Central Taiwan

本文彙整台灣中部地區蝴蝶歷年調查資料。共計有228個調查點，其中在1970年前有174點，1970年後有90點，共有的調查點有36點。蝶種有342種蝶類，有10種為1970年後所新記載，另有94種在1970年後未有發現。中部各縣市的調查點及蝶種分別為：苗栗縣43點，241種；台中縣（市）55點，248種；南投縣99點，329種；彰化縣17點，111種；雲林縣14點，84種。1970年前的調查偏重於苗栗、台中及南投山區定點式調查，1970年後的調查則偏向於地區蝶相的普查。蝴蝶的種類與數量的變化與環境相關，可以作為生態保育上的保護傘種。 Based on a review of the literature from 1866 to 1997, there were a total of 228inventorying sites, 174 sites before 1970 and 90 sites after 1970, with the records of342 species of butterflies in the Central Taiwan Area. Ten species were new for this areaand 94 species were not recorded after 1970. There were 43 inventory sites and 241species in the Miali Prefecture, 55 sites and 248 species in the Taichung Prefecture, 99sites and 329 species in the Nantou Prefecture, 17 sites and 111 species in the ChunghuaPrefecture, and 14 sites and 84 species in the Yunlin Prefecture. The inventory sites arelisted by UTM squares and indicated on the map. The changes in species of butterfliesbefore and after 1970 were discussed.
