Thoughts on the 2018 Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness

第15屆亞太資優教育會議於2018年在泰國曼谷舉行，本會議每兩年由亞太資優教育聯盟輪流在各會員國舉辦，提供亞洲與太平洋地區資優教育社群，研究成果發表、教學分享與資優教育理念推廣的機會。本屆會議的主題「靈感、動機、創造：引領資優之路」，著重於資優生的培育與才能的發展，期待教師能激發資優生動機，使其在專業領域中持續不斷的精進。本文介紹會議辦理情形、主題演講的內容摘要與省思，作為未來研究與舉辦會議時的參考。 In 2018, the 15th Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness (APCG) was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Asia-Pacific Federation on Giftedness (APFG) held this conference by the member countries every two years. This conference provides opportunities for participants to share their research results, teaching experiences and promoting the philosophy of gifted education. The theme of 15th APCG was “Inspiration, Motivation, and Creativity: Leading the Way to Giftedness”, which mainly focused on the issues of nurturing gifted and talented students. In the conference, teachers are expecting to motivate gifted students to devote themselves to researching in the professional fields. This article included the introduction to the 2018 conference, summaries of the keynote speech and reflections of the authors attended.
