據經濟部統計,台灣專利商品化機率僅千分之三。唯創意(乃至衍生之專利)未能商品化,不代表該些創意即毫無商業價值。一項藉由67位專利獨立發明人訪查的研究指出,獨立發明人雖認同透過企業合作為創意發明商品化的最佳管道,但如何尋得企業合作卻是其所面臨的困難議題。本研究旨在以獨立發明人觀點為取向,藉由個案研究法,針對外部創意尋求企業合作「實務歷程」進行具體探討與論述。本研究成果揭露獨立發明人尋求企業過程中具體情境脈絡與發展轉折,包括專業經理人互動與談判歷程、非內部發明潛在影響乃至各企業部門關切重點之差異。最後,本研究在結論針對該歷程之困難與因應策略進行探討與彙整,以提供獨立發明人尋求企業合作若干參酌與指引。 According to statistics released by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the commercialization rate of patents in Taiwan is merely 0.3%. The fact that creative ideas (even the derived patents) have not been commercialized does not necessarily mean that these creative ideas are of no commercial value. According to an investigation into 67 independent inventors of patents, these inventors encounter difficulty in how to seek corporate cooperation, although they agree that corporate cooperation is the best way to commercialize creative inventions. From the perspective of an independent inventor and with a case study, this study aims to elucidate the “practical development” of seeking corporate cooperation for external creativity. The results of this study show the detailed situational structure and the turning points in the process where independent inventors seek corporate cooperation, including the interaction and negotiation of professional managers, the potential influence of non-internal inventions, and even the difference in focus among corporate sectors. This study concludes by presenting a systematic discussion and summary of the difficulties in the development and the countermeasures of the process, so as to provide some reference and guidance for independent inventors when targeting corporate cooperation.
