本研究旨在以相對關係式(allometric equation)探討杉木(Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.) Hook.)、紅檜(Chamaecyparis formosensis Matsum.)、柳杉(Cryptomeria japonica D. Don)及桂竹(Phyllostachys makinoi Hayata.)之胸高直徑與生物量的關係。研究區域位於台灣中部地區,此4種類林木(竹)分別取樣自4個不同林分,本研究採用四種相對關係式模擬之,分別為一般相對關係式、WBE相對關係式(I)、WBE相對關係式(II)及Ruark相對關係式。採用殘差均方根(RMSE)來比較模式間的模擬效果,結果顯示一般相對關係式及Ruark相對關係式的模擬效果較佳,而WBE(I)模式雖具有理論架構,但在4種植物的應用上仍不盡理想。 The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between biomass and diameter at breast height (DBH) for four species, i.e., China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook.), Taiwan red cypress (Chamaecyparis formosensis Matsum.), Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica D. Don), Makino bamboo (Phyllostachys makinoi Hayata.), by the allometric equations. The study area was located in central Taiwan and these four species were conducted from four different stands. Four allometric models, that is, the general allometric equation, the WBE (I), the WBE (II) and the Ruark allometric equations, were used to simulate the 4 species, respectively. The root mean square error (RMSE) was used to compare the simulated effects among different models. The results showed that the general allometric equation and the Ruark allometric equation had well simulated effects while the WBE (I) model was not suitable for using in the 4 species of this study.
